You browse the web for cheap travel airfares and compared the travel auctions for your airline tickets. And you though you are really just lucky to get stumbled in deal that offers FREE airline tickets! And that would mean saving $$$ and walking to the beaches of Hawaii!
But do free airline tickets really exists? And if you are “lucky” enough this is packaged with a hotel accommodation too! You might get curious on how these traveling agencies managed to give away precious $$$ especially when it is attached to great destinations like Orlando or Hawaii. Sounds too good to be true right? And now you preparing for a report in case you get scammed by these ads!
Well, unfortunately, it is. These scams are usually set up by time-share companies and what they don't tell you is that you will be required to attend their seminars every day. You can live with a short seminar right? Think again.
Seminars, as so called usually last for a minimum of 4 hours each day you are in the trip destination. If you failed or intended not to attend these seminars, you might have your free airline ticket home or even have your hotel room canceled.
Sure it's sneaky but legally these companies are doing what they say. These companies provide free airline tickets with the promise of vacation and in a way they do comply.
If you think you can listen to 4 hours of sales pitches every day and still try to have a good time later, go for it. If you know it's a bad idea, stay away. It is for you to decide.
Usually airline deals are on bad times of the year. What does it means? In the fall, you can see ads for very cheap Caribbean airline tickets. And so? What is it that happens in the Caribbean every fall? Hurricanes! The chances of a hurricane coming to the exact place you are visiting is pretty slim but if it does happen, you are stuck there for the duration of the storm. Be very careful when drooling over these cheap airline tickets in the fall. The same applies for Japan and nearby islands in the spring.
And just realization will come to you that after spending the hours for sales speeches, you get struck in a storm? That's the price that may pay for the free airline tickets. Now, to make your travel safe, just spend time reading and analyzing offers and weighing then against what they ask for.
